There are old phrases that seem to have been around forever, you know what they are supposed to mean, but never really understood it. The thought behind it never really made sense, and was something lost to time.
For me, "legs that go all the way up," was one such phrase.
That is until I saw a photo of Cyd Charisse. Then I knew.
Those legs were even better when put to use in the classic MGM musicals, with her beauty, grace, and skill.
