After trying out SquareSpace, I determined it really wasn't for me. It's a good service. Great if you have a need for a lot of bandwidth. But some of the limits of the system there forces one to limit what you can do, or shell out more money to be able to do them. Again, if I had a huge demand for the site, I'd have no worries as I'd be paying for the pricier plans for that purpose anyway. But I don't and so I'm over here.

But it did give be the bug to get serious into web design. So I've returned a Movable Type based blog. All the good fonts and styling that I'd created, will be rebuilt here, with improvements, over time.

I'm trying out the CSSEdit program to edit stylesheets on the Mac. It seems to be the desktop equivalent of what Squarespace did online for design, and more.
